Purchasing a plot in the cemetery is easy to do. For those that reside in the Sugar Salem Moody District each plot is $300, those living outside of the district is $500 per plot. The cemetery is sorted into blocks, within blocks are lots and then individual graves inside the lots.
Currently we are only able to accept cash or checks for plot purchases.
The interactive map of Mapping Hands makes it easy to view the cemetery and which plots are available for purchase. It is updated monthly so in a few instances a plot may not be available that shows available on the interactive map.
This map will also show if you reside in or out of the district when you zoom out.
The map will open in a new window, once on the map use ctrl+F to search for graves by name.
If you would like to see available plots in person Chris can meet at the cemetery to show you, he is available most Thursdays and Fridays after 5pm. Looking at the interactive cemetery map will show available areas and plots in the cemetery, Chris can then show those areas in person at the cemetery.
